Wish I knew what part of US you reside. I retired from large military credit union whose executive employees were retired military officers. They have a large HR department in VA and FL. Also I reside in MD close to Patuxent Naval Station which has demand for aviation science. Contact me via email giving area you live and I will get back to you. I have some contacts in credit union industry.
Apply to work at a major hotel chain. The job is fun and the people are nice. You can be a manager in 2 years. There is a chance for travel but you may have had enuf of that.
